Nicole Hoffman is a passionate threat researcher with a decade of experience in intelligence-driven cybersecurity operations. She is the author of The Cognitive Stairways of Analysis, an analytic framework designed to strengthen structured reasoning and the analytic tradecraft.

Nicole has presented at leading industry events, including RSAC, the SANS Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit, and the SANS Threat Hunting & Incident Response Summit, sharing expertise on analytic methodology, operational intelligence, and cognitive approaches to cybersecurity, as well as threat research.

Nicole is also the creator of the whimsical Mighty Universe, a medieval-themed cybersecurity world that showcases how different cybersecurity roles work together. Within this universe, she authored two distinct series: The Mighty Threat Intelligence Warrior and The Mighty Reverse Engineer, which introduce children to cybersecurity and STEM concepts through imaginative storytelling.
